GENERAL INFO.
#MAGICGLOBE is an independent and mostly private writing blog for charlie calvin from the santa clause trilogy. primarily film based and heavily inspired by my own personal headcanons. NOTE: i do not acknowledge the 2022 disney+ series as canon. i may take light inspiration from the series when it comes to world building and lore but i've had charlie as a muse since early 2019 and will not disregard the headcanons and development i've created to fit the show's inconsistencies.

shipping here is going to be highly selective. apart from his future verse where he takes over as santa, charlie is primarily played as a child and therefore will be treated as such. anyone found acting like a fucking creep will be blocked so goddamn fast. any romantic ships that occur will be with muses his own age, whether it be in his teenage verses or his adult verses.that said, i am always open to other kinds of dynamics! send a meme and we can jump right in. honestly, pre-established relationships are a godsend and we can always figure out details as we go.

father: scott calvin. aka santa claus. scott became santa claus when charlie was eight years old. he primarily lives at the north pole so charlie doesn’t get to see him as often as he likes but he tries to visit often. has since remarried charlie’s former principal, carol newman, who now goes by the mantle of mrs. claus.
mother: laura miller. divorced from scott by the time charlie was six and remarried soon after. charlie primarily lives with her and his step father, neil miller, in their hometown of lakeside, illinois.
siblings: lucy miller. younger half sister by eight years, from his mother and neil's marriage. charlie grew up in the same house as lucy and is much closer to her than his other siblings. buddy calvin. younger half brother by sixteen years, from his father and carol's marriage, born at the north pole. sandra calvin. youngest half sister by nineteen years, also from scott and carol's marriage, born at the north pole.

general age: 8 years old.generally based within the year scott struggled to accept his identity as santa but can be expanded to include anything from charlie’s childhood, whether that be life prior to scott putting on the coat or the years immediately after.

general age: 16 years old.generally follows the plot of tsc2. carrying his father's secret as a teenager isn’t as easy as it was when he was a kid. feeling as though he has nobody he can talk to, charlie begins to act out. with christmas drawing nearer ( and with his name now on the naughty list ! ) , is it too late to change?
v3. THE SUCESSION CLAUSE.
future au where charlie takes over as santa. general age: early 30s.this year will be his dad's last year as santa. after nearly three decades, scott has finally decided to retire, meaning that should charlie accept it - the job is now his. he has until next christmas to decide if this is what he really wants and to follow in his father's footsteps.not canon to the disney+ the santa clauses series.
